# Variadic Functions in Go

**Variadic functions** in Go are functions that can accept a variable number of arguments of a specified type. This feature is especially useful when you do not know in advance how many arguments will be passed to the function.

## **Syntax and Declaration**

To declare a variadic function, use an ellipsis (`...`) before the type in the parameter list. Only the last parameter in a function can be variadic.

## **Usage Patterns**

* **Flexible Argument Count:** Variadic functions are ideal when the number of arguments is unknown or optional at call time.

* **Avoid Temporary Slices:** They eliminate the need to create a slice just to pass multiple arguments to a function.

* **Readability:** Express intent more clearly, as seen in Go's standard library functions like `fmt.Println` and `append`
